Dr. Brett McBride is the new General Surgeon at Idaho Falls Community Hospital, Mountain View Hospital, and Blackfoot Medical Center. Dr. McBride specializes in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, biliary, GI tract including anti-reflux surgery, colon cancer, rectal-anal disease, hernias, breast cancer, thyroid, acute care and trauma surgery, colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

Dr. McBride Graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. He then attended Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Yakima Washington. He completed his surgical training at Mountain Vista Medical Center General Surgery Residency Program in Mesa Arizona. He is a Member of the American Osteopathic Association and American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons.

Dr. McBride enjoys spending time with his family, running, hiking, reading, and skiing.
